About us

About EMC Remote Notary Network

EMC Remote Notary Network connects you with a Florida-commissioned Remote Online Notary by secure video, wherever you are. We began in South Florida in 2014 with in-person notarizations and moved online so geography stops being a reason a document doesn't get signed.

Today we serve individuals, attorneys, title companies, and businesses across the U.S. — entirely by secure video. Request a session online 24/7. No office visit. No travel. Just a camera, your ID, and your document.

Reach us anytime at (561) 933-9787 or hello@emcnotary.com.

How a session works

  1. Book a time or request a callback. You receive an invite link for your scheduled session.
  2. Upload your document, or we upload it for you.
  3. Verify your identity on the platform before the session starts.
  4. Meet a Florida-commissioned Remote Online Notary on a live audio-video session and sign electronically.
  5. Receive the finished document through a secure download link.

A routine session typically runs about 15 minutes or less. You need a valid photo ID, a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection.

The platform and identity verification

Sessions run on a State Approved MISMO Certified platform, audited under SOC 2 Type II. Florida law requires identity proofing for every online notarization: credential analysis of your government-issued photo ID plus knowledge-based authentication (F.S. §117.265).

Every session is conducted by a Florida-commissioned Remote Online Notary registered with the Florida Department of State. Commission details are provided at your session.

Service area

Florida law lets a Florida online notary notarize for a signer whether the signer is in Florida or elsewhere (F.S. §117.209), so remote online notarization is available wherever you are. Whether another state or country accepts the finished document varies by jurisdiction. In-person mobile notary visits are available across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

About questions

Is remote online notarization (RON) actually legit? How does the session work?

It's completed fully online through a secure remote online notarization platform. You'll get an invite link for your scheduled time, you upload the document (or we upload it for you), verify your identity, meet our Florida-commissioned notary in a video/audio session, and get the finished document back through a secure download link. The whole thing typically runs about 15 minutes or less. You'll need a valid photo ID, a device with camera and mic, and a decent internet connection.

Is this notarized document legally sufficient for my case?

We do not provide legal advice or make a legal determination regarding domicile, immigration status, residency status, or the legal effect of the documents. Our role is limited to notary services, clerical work like document formatting and administrative preparation, recordable-package coordination, public requirement review, courier submission, and scanback coordination. If you need a legal opinion on the legal sufficiency or effect of the declarations, that should be reviewed by a Florida attorney.
